Message	Mechanically, I do rate them about equal. We have had a Corolla, a Tercel, and now a 2000 Taco. The only thing that I don't like about the less expensive Toyotas are the cheap look and feel to some of the parts. I have had numerous issues with cheap ass door latches, door locks, and side view mirrors etc. I support the big 3 (of Japan of course!) If I were to buy a brand new car, I think I would go for the 3.5L Altima for a DD.
